ASTER GDEM v3

ASTER Global Digital Elevation Model Version 3. 30 m global elevation from ASTER stereo imagery.

Built from more than 1.8 million ASTER stereo scenes, the GDEM reaches further north and south than SRTM (83° against 60°N and 56°S), which makes it the usual 30 m choice for high-latitude basins. Each tile comes with a NUM file giving the number of scenes behind every cell, useful for masking poorly constrained areas. The companion ASTER Water Bodies Database is listed under Observations.
